I downloaded this last night and gave it a spin. I liked it very much except for one thing, and that was it's downfall. In the past I loaded Alinco mostly for the one-butten heal feature, but that seems to be missing from this iteration. So I had to revert to the old copy. Am I missing something or is there some nested option that I haven't seen yet?? Everything else is there, so why would that change?

You set up one button heal from within Decal Hotkey System.


I can't find the pop-up window for found items. I can only get them to show up as icons on the HUD.

does this program list items by % at all? like B/S used to do. such as 92% of max etc? I always found that handy.


Also at quick glance I notice that for buffing it says that it requires you to download a 2nd file other than the main installer. perhaps that will help some others with problems?

Thanks Joxer, but I've got the other file installed, and I've got the button turned on to use it. It just does nothing, kinda like Chaz


I've got buffme for buffs, so I'm not particularly worried about it for now, and Alinco does a decent job as a Bandit Sight clone. It doesn't list by percentage though, sadly.

Auto Loot and Auto UST might make me take another look at it. That was one of my biggest gripes with it.

I really can't comprehend why auto-loot and auto-ust are such big features. Is it really that hard to press a few keys? What if Alinco decides to auto-loot some corpse that's over there down the beach in the middle of a bunch of sleech spawns? Etc.


Not trying to be an arse, just really want to know what the appeal is

Yes, that's exactly what you are trying to be. Just because YOU don't see a need for a feature, doesn't mean it's valueless for other people...

If you'd read my post, you'd see I was asking for an explanation of why this is an important feature to you. If that wasn't clear, now I've spelled it out. I have read this thread. I do understand that people like the feature. I just don't get why and I'm curious. I never said that the feature was valueless, and perhaps if you'd explain your reasoning, I might even come to your way of thinkin'. But nope, you have to call me a closed-minded arse...


Anyway, I'd love to hear the appeal! Honest. I don't get it, and I want to get it!
