Nice on the war detect decision.
I was just going to put in a request, in the pk detection tab, would be it be possible to list the pk name and their guild, if it's a non-allegiance player?

Just war detect. Although I know some people are bound to disagree with me, I don't think PK detection is an issue.

It is possible to do this, but I don't think I'll be adding this immediately. Initially, I'm going to finish up the stuff Replex started adding (buffing, looting, etc.)
Once concern I have with this is that I'm not sure if an ID of the player is required. If it is, this would add more client/server traffic... is knowing their allegiance worth the potential extra lag?

I think that minipk used to send an id for every player. Whether it was for allegiance info or not, I'm not sure, but I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it was.
For pking it would definitely be worth the additional network traffic/lag. I have to ID everyone when I come into a drop anyway to check non-allegiance guilds, having it done automatically would be great.

depending on your location, the drop would take *alot* longer then, if it had to ID 15-25 people to gather all that info. By that point, you could be dead. I imagine it would cause a small delay if you're already fighting and one or more people drop in that it'd have to stop and ID as well.

It's definitely something Turbine should think about integrati9ng in a future update/patch. Non allegiance tags or markers? I am fairly certain they don't exist. What they should of done a LONG time ago, like evry other MMO, is add an allegiance tag over the head of the player. While it would still be difficult to sift through a large field of battle, at least then you could tell.
Another thought, is that when you select a PK target, if they are in your allegiance then perhaps a green outline or something in the id panel. (Or something similar to that effect.) If not, then a red outline, or something, at least some type of immediate alert should come into the target info window.
Id say most veterans of DT wuld probably appreciate something like this, but chances are they know who most of their enemies already are...and they have sort of a 6th sense when it comes to about being jumped by one of them.

Paraduck if you could add a on/off when you do make it that would fix the problem wouldn't it? Just turn it off for drops.

Looks like it won’t be an even playing field anymore with you removing war detect. Now the guilds with priv plugins will have the advantage. Great job…

Seriously what is with blaming the people who make the plug-ins. I am sure if you really wanted it you can make your own. I mean that is how these plug-ins get created in the first place.
