Brand, have you tried to reinstall the dx9 runtimes?

Yeah I tryed everything on the microsoft website for dx9 and can't get any of them to go past the insilizing stage that's when it faults out. It sees what I have and what I need but after I hit next and it starts the process something is stopping it from dling it. I was looking at the certificates that where listed and they mention that one should be expired but still read as valid. It's saying that one is no good but don't have anything to verify it against my other comps are vista and don't have that one. I want to say it's GTE or something like that.

Maybe go here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/DirectX-Eradicator.shtml and get the DirectX Eradicator (you may have to run this in compatibility mode (winXP)


Then go here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9226a611-62fe-4f61-aba1-914185249413&DisplayLang=en and get the full directX download and try that.


If you get an error during the install, then check the directx.log file and see where it errored out.

Ok got the directx to install the microsoft tech gave me a different way of doing to the same thing with the dll's and that worked for the directx it now reads the patches I need for decal but there is another problem now. It logs in fine and all of the programs are there but just the skins. You can't activate them and non of the boxes are checked and all the pull down menues are empty. This isn't the comp and kinda tired to look at it now but if anyone knows of an easy fix or I think of something by morning thanks. If not I will try and post the export in the morning. Ok got everything working just had to dl decal again thanks again for the help. Just one more off topic question what would be a good grafics card to update this system to use a widescreen lcd? Have one from when I upgraded my new comps screen but it won't work on here. Looking for something around 100 and only game really played on this system is ac. Also should I add more ram? Here is the latest export just incase I missed something that's not working right.
