Xp since SP2 and Vista both work great here for me. I'll take them over Linux any day.

on that blue update lines fill and the screen just sits there.


i run xp pack 2 on all my machines, AND occassionally i run into that problem on one or two of them on patch day. most go to 100% and then the log in screen pops up.


then occassionally on one patch day one will go to 100% and then sit there forever. after a few minutes of that i kill the process, reboot the machine and then am able to log into AC no more problems. it isn't always the same machine and it isn't always every patch.


so it's just something odd about possibly a timing issue with machine, OS, internet, the weather????


may want to try the reboot and see if you can log in next time it happens to you.

AC works just fine for me, upgraded a Vista 64 to Win7 64...but can't get Decal to show up in game. Funny though...I thought for sure it was working before the patch, but had other problems with video so was focused on that. Dual Client gives a nasty error related to performance counters and won't load.

I can't get AC to work for me, but I'm running Windows 7 inside of MS Virtual Machine 2007. I might clear a partition and try installing to that.

Pokerstars worked fine though.

AC Works, Decal Doesn't. Same results if you try to run AC inside of a DirectX emulating Virtual Machine.

I got AC, Decal and Dual Logger all working with very little hastle

I was able to get AC to work, but Decal I can not get to work I read on the decal dev board that x64 bit wouldn't be supported, which is what I think Windows 7 beta is.

Just an update:


The latest build of Windows 7 (build 7068) works with Decal now.


I have been ingame with the decal bars up and running.
