Vista 64bit. Got AC to go, Dual Client too.

Got it running on my 32bit system but I'm missing something and I cannot figure out what I missed. (Running as Admin, not in Programs Directory, etc.)

First vial doesn't even get a chance to fill. With Decal off, AC and Dual Client work fine.

On windows xp you do not have to move the files from the program files directory, but I dont think it would cause any problems. Did you manually run windows update? http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

I always run Windows Update, I'm using Vista 64.

Decal doesn't necessarily report the operating systems correctly anymore.

It is quite possible that Vista is completely misidentified, as well as things like Win7. That portion of the code hasn't been updated since before Vista was made honestly.

In that case is Decal installed under c:\games ? Putting it in the default program files directory might cause issues.

Yes, it and AC are under c:\games. I'll compare my Vista 32-bit desktop to my Vista 64-bit laptop to see why one would work but not the other.

good news (maybe) and bad news.


if you check alinco3 says it needs netframework 3.5 installed. Your listing DOES NOT show 3.5 only 1 and 2.


try installing 3.5(updates) to the Vista 64 system and see if it works then.
