I'm having an issues using decal with Asheron's Call. When I start AC on it's own; I don't have an issues. When I start AC with Dual Client; I don't have an issues. However, when I start AC with decal it loads a black screen with an hourglass -- that is all. I've tried installing Decal under C:\Program Files (x86)\Decal, then uninstalling and reinstalling it under, C:\Games\Decal. Both of these options did not work. Is there anything else I can try?

not sure if there is anything there that might help you....I'd say reinstall ac outside program files is worth a try

Are you running Windows Xp Professioal 64 bit? Where is AC installed on your computer?

I installed AC outside of Program Files. Same result.

i can't check at the moment since the Main decal site is down only the mirror site is up.


BUT on the main site there is a special direct X file to dl and install, which is more of a developer's file (as I understand it) and thus NOT typically included in normal directX installs.


IF you don't ahve that file installed that COULD be the issue when you attempt to start with decal running.

Sounds like that could be the issues since downloaded my version of decal from their temporary site.

If you have the original version would you mind zipping it up and sending it over?
