There is a more in depth example there now. That is what made me change. Crashes have all but disappeared for me.

I've had 2 crashes since getting rid of Alinco. And they both came after 30+ hours.

I can live with that.

Disabling alinco for me did not fix my problem.

Can you re-enable alinco and confirm that the crashes are back?

I still think its network related. I usually run 6 chars at the same time on one pc. When I crash, usually 3 or all 6 crash at the same time. With 24GB of ram on win7, memory is not the issue.

This is indeed one reason for a crash. I have recently isolated a cause of crashing related to Decal's network handling code. A fix is forthcoming.

This does not, however, change anything about the fact that you will crash if your client runs out of memory due to the memory leak.

That's awesome news VI. When that fix comes out I'll be sure to give you another donation!!!

Is the fix something that will work with all decal plugins or something each plugin must implement?

It is a Decal issue, not an issue with any particular plugin.

Curious though,

Does that mean there will be a new release of decal? Or will you just patch a particular dll?

AWESOME find btw on that bug.

The fix has been posted now. To get it, you just hit update in Decal.
