If you're on 7, I've found that running DenAgent.exe in XP SP3 compatiblity mode resolves this.

We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more and things that are more distant than they did,
not because our sight is superior or because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up and their
great stature adds to ours

Running Vista. Tried that last night, but no luck.

Using decals alternate injection fixed the issue on my ATI 5870 2MB card.

I tried using the "No Movie" and "No Logo" options in the new decal and they didn't seem to work.

VI's classic logoblocker works though.

If you are having the can't enable/disable plugins bug the most likely scenario is that you at one point ran Decal without administrator privileges and it created a virtualized registry entry for Decal, which is bad. There's a flag I can add to the manifest that should stop this problem in the future, but for now your best bet is just to delete the corresponding Virtual Store entry for Decal.

Looked in the virtual store folder. No decal entry. Blah.

Would it help if after I uninstall decal, if I went in and deleted all registry entries related to decal?

Nope, because it will most likely still be in the VirtualStore key in the registry.

Regedit: HKEY_USERS\<User SID>_Classes\VirtualStore\Machine\Software\Decal

Checked the registry. There is no entry for Decal under the virtual store entry.
