Today I started up AC, and VT updated. Sweet. I get IG, and VT isn't there. I quit, open up decal, and I see that none of the Virindi plugins are in the list, but the VirindiAutomaticUpdatesFilter is there, and the Bootstrap. I tried downloading the bundle installer again, and ran that. It said everything was installed and up to date. So, I tried going back IG. It updated again, and asked to install each of the plugins, which I did (and allowed, I'm using Win7 32, not 64 btw). Still no luck. I removed everything, reinstalled, updated, nada.


What the hell.

It was working fine before, so I dunno. Any idea what those are, so I can install them?

Make sure you are running the bundle installer as admin. It sounds like the virtualized registry is messing you up.

If you ran it as admin before, run it NOT as admin.

Ok, just tried both, and that didn't work. What is the proper way to uninstall the plugins, seeing as it doesn't show up in the programs list in the CP to uninstall, and I can't locate an uninstaller for it? Do I just delete the VirinidPlugins folder?

Ok, that's what I figured. I did that, did a fresh install, updated, and still zilch.

Ok, I tried installing both as admin and not. Neither worked.


Thinking about it, I did run Glary Utilities registry defragger today before firing up AC. Think it screwed something up? I also installed Avast, but I have it disabled and it still isn't working. Ugh.


I really don't want to wipe my drive and do a fresh install of everything, including Windows.
