The direct direct x 9.0c(feb2010 redist) and the vb6 runtime links don't work for me.


I'm going to go ahead and install AC and decal under C:/Games for now.


If decal doesn't work i'll post the export but untill than if someone could grab me some links, that would be great.

If you run the installer for the vtank bundle and click the "check libs" button, it will get you to the dl's.

Ok, so here is my problem. I got decal to work and I downloaded pimphand 4.2 and virindi tank bundle. I finally got virindi tankj to download and it seems to be running fine. The problems I have is connecting to AC in the launcher. The bubbles sometimes dont go all the way and I get a connection is lost error. Most of the time it does go all the way and I'm able to play.


Second problem is when im running my vtank and Pimphand. When someone logs me my game freezes for like 30 seconds and than it finally logs off. The Client says its not responding but eventually it logs off. My character however does not relog himself.


This never happened on my windows xp, which i've been using up untill a few days ago, so I know it's not my connection or router.


If anyone has any input for me please let me know.

It looks like decal is installed under the program files (x86) directory. Uninstall that and reinstall under c:\games\decal.

Ok I did that, the bubbles still didn't connect the first time.


Second time it did however when i logged in and tried to log out the game froze again and it said Ac not responding for like 30 seconds and finally disconnected.


What could be causing this?

Try disabling all of your plugins and re-enabling them one at a time. It could be none of them, but its a first place to check.
Also, did you do the port forwarding of the LAN IP's from your router to your pc?

Tried disabling and enabling but nothing changed.


I never did any port forwarding on my router because it worked fine on my other laptop. So i'm assuming it would on this new one?

I am guessing you are connecting through wireless? Do you have the ability to plug the laptop into directly into the router/switch/hub?

Another thing, when you are launching AC try right clicking the icon instead and select run as administrator.

You mean can i directly connect into the ethernet router? instead of wireless? yes i can.


Running as admin hasn't changed anything for me.
