Installed on my system, tried reinstalling. Doesn't work for me. Crashes AC as soon as I hit login on the character selection screen. Tried turning all my plugins off as well. Here is a full export.

I'd like to note that the MakeIt! Check box cannot be unchecked, nor will it remove from the screen when clicking remove. Seems odd.

On the bot machines just use the buff bot plugin.
Disable/uninstall any other plugin and see if that helps.

Course bot machine crashes was reason I made ACQlaunch so it would
automatically get bot back IG.


CTD's have been going for years. Plugins can cause it. Alt-Tab can cause it.
Toon Switching can cause it. Trade Windows can cause it.

To be fair Decal may be involved but there is no clear indications of what
is really causing CTDs. It may not be a single problem. There is some involvement with the PC's software/hardware as some people report never having the issue. Plugins have been the cause. To-date Decal has not been the cause.

So I tried to install the previous beta versions, that messed things up even more, now its showing No DLL for all my plugins. I think ima have to reinstall my old version and now reinstall my old plugins and hope the settings saved.

i can try disabling, i'm not uninstalling anything, on the bot machine. i use ac-dc and often run another account on the machine using PIMPed to handle loading/activiating various plugins for different toons.


logging in the bot automatically isn't an issue since I'm the one logging the bot out and logging in a mule to get something. it's just annoying crashing and then having to restart.


just using castaway and sorit, log in buffbot, log out, log in another, log out and crash. only the one account running


logging in anyone but the buffbot (which don't load castaway) and logging out, logging in next repeatedly no issues.


so it is something about castaway and possibly in relation with other plugins/decal that is the heart of the problem.

Generally this happens when a plugin does not properly clean up all its resources during the shutdown event. Because of the way plugins are typically written, this is a somewhat easy mistake to make, and a lot of plugins over the years have had problems with it.

We are talking about a programming issue purely on the part of individual plugins, though.

I'll try testing again when the next beta version comes out. Right now I can't because it just crashes AC regardless of what I try.

I have the same problem as Boromir (with 2.6.4). I went as far as uninstalling Decal and all plugins, deleted all folders related to any of them, sanitized my registry (cleaned anything to do with Decal and/or my plugins). Did a clean install of Decal 2.6.4 and the client crashed as soon as I selected a toon to log in. Needless to say, installing one plugin at a time after that was a moot point. I tried anyway because I'm old and anal lol.

Cleaned everything again and tried to install to 2.9.6.0, which worked fine prior to all this, but ended up with the missing Decal file dll thingy error.

Ultimately, I ended up reinstalling 2.9.6.3, which lets me get in game but Alinco3 is like 25% functional and Buffme loops equip/unequip wand. GoArrow seems to work. Skunkvision seems to be OK.
