So im trying to get vtank to work and the route stuff is just not working like it should.

If I set up a route and hit go it just sits there and "autorun on" gets turned on and appears on the top of the page.

At this point if I manually give my character a nudge with the forward key he will start to run the route, however, he stops at the first waypoint and I once again have to *nudge* him to get him to move on his way again. Autorun OFF and autorun ON (in that order) appears at the end of every waypoint, but, once again - I have to nudge him to get the character to start moving.

It makes no sense.

Im running windows 7 and everything is running in administrator mode. I have gotten the latest build from the virindi bundle on the website.

some simple questions:

1) under profiles tab, is enable auto-nav checked?

2) under Route tab, which of the four types was selected for the nav-route when you built it Cirular, Linear, Follow, or Once?

3) does vtank stay running, or does it almost immediately turn itself off(as in no wand listed in the items tab).

and finally,

4) why wasn't a decal export posted?

answers and POSTING of these may help folks ascertain why you are having troubles. (i run win7 home edition and have auto-nave working).

I've tried it with and without auto nav. Right now, yes, it is.
I've tried every type of route. Right now, Its on linear.
vtank never turns itself off. Its always on, it just wont move unless I push my character forward a hair, then, it stops at the start of the next waypoint and I have to "push" him again.

Combat works fine, buffing works fine. Everything works but the movement on routes.

I honestly didn't even think about doing an export. Here it is if it will help.

Thanks again

I'm not an expert, but I believe the beginning of your problems (whether running as admin or not) is that you have AC installed in the program files directory.

I believe you need to uninstall AC and decal and your plugins.

Reinstall AC and decal and the plugins into a folder like C:\Games\AC or C:\DecalPlugins.. something along those lines.

I believe there are issues in Windows 7/Vista with files in the program files directory that need to be updated the way that Decal/AC does.

I dual log on windows 7, and routes work for each client simultaneously, so I would first start by changing your installation directories.

I've had this issue and I've no idea what causes it, but it's FRUSTRATING. I'm installed to C:\Games.

You may want to check. I've helped a few people over the last few days, in game, and it was always this.

Go to the tab with the video settings, scroll to the bottom, and see if either of the mouse look radio buttons are checked. Think some of them were activated inadvertantly.

^^^^^ This. Please triple check that mouse movement mode is not enabled.
