So I took a 5 year break, I came back about 6 months ago. I am having a problem where my two old school characters (that I created in 2000 and 2003), lag HARDCORE compared to my other characters that I have just created (Oct 30, 20011). I have 2 accounts, I dual log them all the time. I have done these combos of logins:

Old Char - Old Char
Old Char - New Char
New Char - Old Char
New Char - New Char

No matter what the combo, no matter what the account, the older characters lag noticeably more.

I will be doing the same thing, with 2 different chars with the same gear, the same lvl, the same place, everything.

I notice the lag most when I turn on Vtank. My old chars cannot run routes due to them lagging too hard and over turning continuously. My newly made chars have no problem at all, they are lag free.

Anyone have any suggestions to what the problem might be?

I just uninstalled and re-installed everything relating to AC. I still have the same problem


1) Earlier were you instructing me to turn off all of my decal filters or ingame filters?

2) I'm not sure if this helps, but the computer I am currently using I used to play AC years ago. So is there anyway that some files are embedded in my computer from way back when that relate to my old characters. Which is causing the problem? If so, how to I clear out those files?

When I re-installed AC, I noticed that some of the files had Modify Dates from back in 2004, even though I just uninstalled EVERYTHING AC related, restarted, and re-installed.

Is there a large difference in inventory count between the old chars and the new? i.e. do you only have problems with toons that have full packs?
