I wouldnt mind it if it didnt display it in my chat window, but it goes on for like 30 seconds and scrolls everything for quite awhile. I carry a full pack of bows, not to mention wands and loot that I picked up, so it is pretty annoying to have it do that. LTx and Alinco don't display all this, even if they do it in the background (i dont know if they do or not).
I actually disabled AC+ just because of this "bug". Aside from that its one of my favorite and most original plugins.

>> It's not the one that spams details of them all though, I believe Alinco does this when it you get an ID back, there might be others as well. Unfortunately, there's no way for a plugin to tell the difference between another plugin ID'ing something or the user, hence the reason it's generally a bad idea for a plugin to generate spam when an object is ID'd.
I agree. When it creates a new default profile, VT IDs all items in your pack that could be potentially used by the plugin...weapons, wands, shields, healing kits, food, gems, etc. This really shouldn't be a problem for people, the real problem here is that Alinco is spamming you. In order to function properly, VT must often ID items, and the same is true of pretty much any plugin that wants to take actions with your character.
Ideally, Alinco would have some method of determining if the user requested the ID, such as only showing the spam after the 'e' key was pressed or the mouse right click was detected, or having a hotkey for "ID item with Alinco".

A new version of the plugin (0.3.0.9) has been posted to my website.
Changelog ( http://www.virindi.net/plugins/uttrac/wiki/vtchangelog )
New features:
-Plugin now uses the healer's heart if you have it in your itemlist
-"Expert mode" method of manually changing macro settings added. The command for this is "/vt opt"
-Plugin now automatically crafts many items. If a known item is in your gems/food list and you do not have any of them, but you have the components and skill to make them, it makes one. The most obvious use for this is making blue healing kits from Oolutanga quest comps, but it also works with rations and some other things.
Fixes:
-Secondary auth server added for people who were having problems connecting to the primary one
-Monsters panel behavior fixed
-Fixed navigation walk mode scrolling up when typing into chatbox
-Default range setting for helper healing and stam changed to reflect the actual range of the spells
-Other misc. bugfixes
As always, feedback is appreciated.

No, I don't use AC+, I agree that Alinco is most likely the "culprit". If I could put the spam it generates into a chat window, I'd not mind, but the clutter in the main window is outrageous - especially when it is id'ing things 2-3 times
To the person losing their personal settings when they log out: One thing I got in the habit of doing long ago with any program that allows changes to the way it does things, is to SAVE the profile when any change has been made. This includes: weapons, wands, health/stam items, and, of course, monster profiles of any sort. I've yet to lose a "custom" setting on my monster tab doing this. It takes just a few seconds to do. If you try this, does it lose things next time you log on?

Virindi Tank doesn't work like this. There is no 'save' function. Instead, anytime any change is made, the profile is saved. The 'save as' button only exists so you can make a copy of a profile.
I HATE plugins that only save settings when you logoff. It's one of the greatest annoyances of using other people's decal plugins.

one thing I found fusterating is that when looting it id's everyting in my chat 1 window which I use for alleg chat. Being in a very active guild makes it hard to keep up with chat with the iding happening. I haven't down loaded the new version yet getting ready to do that now. Never had this problem before I started using VT. I will add that I use the first three chat windows on a regular basis. And leave the forth for game information and other channels that I don't use daily.
One thing I have found is that my melee will just stand there and do nothing while on follow. might be something I have set up wrong. Also if in buffing mode my melee not having all magics stops the program. It would be nice if it could be fixed to choose the magics you wanted to cast rather then all four. And or have it where it will buff a buddy..
and last but least when I take one toon through a portal the other one will take off runing to catch the other one. I've had to stop the program a few times an run back to the portal then turn it back on... It Shocked me the first few times as I wasn't use to it. Now is opps I forgot to turn it off or put the second toon through the portal first..
oh and one more thing is adding the monsters... auto add would be wonderful! As I've found that the default damage and or weapon is not what I use on a lot of monsters.
Still I think its a very nice program and want to say thank you for all your hard work and hrs you have put into this.

Working with the loot editor I see it has settings for Keep/sell/salvage/read. If you have something set for "salvage" will it do it automaticly soon as it loots? If so will it NOT salvage something if it also matches another rule? Does it matter order rules are in to determine what it matches on?
Whats the differance between:
Long Value Key - Workmanship
Double Value Key - SalvageWorkmanship
When would you use one versus the other?
If your looking for items to salvage should you use the Double Value Key one?
Should I be asking questions like this on another thread maybe so as not to clutter up this one? Working hard to figure out and setting up rules for looting. Weapons and armor look like gonna be tough. Weapons specially since I loot for all weapon types and wields to embue and give to clansmates.

"Workmanship" is something a salvageable item has.
"SalvageWorkmanship" is something a bag of salvage has.

Matching is done in rule order. Keep and salvage are actually the only two options that have any meaning right now...the other ones basically are the same as keep. It will perform the action associated with the first rule that matches the item, so basically just have salvage rules at the bottom of the list. Oh, and salvaging of 'salvage' items is done when idle.

Virindi-Inquisitor posted:
Currently, all configuration data is stored in profile files. The registry key merely tells the plugin where to look for those files...unfortunately the default value for the path is the installation directory.
Adding "Gouru mode" option would be no problem, I'll get on it. I won't require it, though
That wouldn't be "Gouru mode", that would be "Compliant with Application Development Guidelines mode".

Feature request: Support for equipping and fletching the new vendor arrows: Spectral, Greater Deadly Blunt, Olthoi Acid.
Not a huge deal because I'm probably one of the very few that use these arrows PvM...but if it's a simple addition, I would love it.
