Also is there a way to set the attack hieght? found it thx anyhow..

0.3.1.87 released.
-Fixed wielding grenades with a shield due to the new game bug that prevents wielding a shield when you are already wielding a thrown item. VTank now works around this by unwielding the primary weapon before wielding the shield, if the primary weapon is a thrown item.

Vtank loads fine ingame but when i try to use it, its completley dead.... I cant use any functions on it even simply adding a weapon to the items tab.....

Hey after the Feb Patch I started to have some trouble with vtank. I am using version 0.3.1.87. When I log in and turn vtank on (all of the vtank remote options are on: combat, loot, navigation, etc) my character just stands there in peace mode. He won't attack anything. But when he gets low on health and has to heal with his wand, or he needs to buff and goes into war mode to do so, after he has healed or buffed he will then switch to melee mode and start attacking. Basically the combat part of vtank doesn't engage until after my character has to get into magic casting mode.

After he has gone into magic mode and is then in combat mode working fine, if I turn off the macro, and then turn it back on, it works perfectly. It is only when I relog that I get the no combat until spell combat mode problem.

If anyone has any idea what I can do to remedy this situation please let me know.

Edit: I should note that if there are bodies on the ground when I log in, he will start looting when I turn the macro on, and then get into combat mode. so looting will trigger the combat mode to start working correctly. But unless the macro loots or needs to get into magic mode, he will just stand there and not get into combat mode when monsters are attacking him.


Edit 2: Just ran some more tests:
1. If when I log in, before starting the macro, I put a wand on and get into war mode, then turn on my macro, he will switch to melee and work fine.

2. If when I log in, before starting the macro, I put a wand on and get into war mode then get out of war mode into peace mode, then turn on the macro, he will switch to melee and work fine.

It looks like before combat will work, the character must first get into war mode with a wand on. I tried getting into war mode with a melee weapon and starting the macro but he just stands there with no combat.

Hmm, here's some wild guesses:


1)Try updating your Monsters tab. Did you train dual wield? See if changing the Offhand weapon to something other then auto fixes the problem...


2)Remove your weapons from the Items tab and re-add them. Then make sure the Monsters Tab is good again.

Thanks for the response Picaro. How does one update their monsters tab? I am going to try the other stuff right now; I will report back on whether it works. No I have not trained dual wield.

well, i meant make sure it's correct. make sure anything you had assigned a specific weapon to still shows that weapon.

if you don't have dual wield trained, then the Offhand being Auto is probably a mute point.

When you first login sometimes the weapon that you are wielding is not recognized. Unequip it and requip it again to clear it.

Hey VI, funny question:


How much coding needed to reconfigure the Offhand to base it's "Auto Attack Power" upon the "Ex. Vuln" setting? =)


I was playing around in EO with Dual Wield. ParaTouched UA in main hand, Bludgeon Render UA in Offhand. I thought it'd be cool if I could get it to do full power with Offhand while still doing full speed in main hand. hehe.


P.S. "Ex. Vuln" currently trys to vuln when it's set, even when the main (primary) option to vuln is disabled. Probably need a disable option for this when using the setting with Dual Wield to determine Auto Power.
