AlincoBuffs stopped working after patch... it (and decal) would load up but I wasn't able to use any of the existing settings, or even create new ones. Thinking this was a problem, I tried to uninstall/re-install decal.

Now decal won't show up at all when I log in. Additionally, I'm getting a red X next to Decal File Service and Version 1 Plugin Surrogate with No DLL to the right. I found the decalfileservice.dll in the decal folder (that I had install into crogramfiles/turbine.) I've read through a bunch of posts here trying to figure it out. My AC is stored in crogramfiles/turbine (I read it should be in C:games instead but it was working before in this directory).
Could I just move the Turbine folder into C:games or would that screw everything up?

Decal still won't show up when I log in, the decal file service still has a red x even though I can see the decalfileservice.dll is in the folder with the rest of the decal files.

Well, I can't provide any input on your Decal issue, but when you do happen to get it worked out you will need the following file to fix Alinco3Buffs to work with the Feb 2012 patch...

1) If you are running windows xp you do not need to move the decal directory. You only move that if you are using Vista or Win7.
2) Have you tried the latest version of decal 2.9.6.5 (I think thats it)?
3) There is a decal registry fix to clean that no file service, but I can't remember where it is. Check the sticky at the top of the forum. It is probably in there. Uninstall decal then run the registry utility and then reinstall decal.

Ok, I uninstalled, ran the cleaner, rebooted and then installed the latest 2.9.6.5.
The decal file service got fixed but now ACclient crashes when I try to log in with decal running.

I do not see anything that will make it crash, but you do need to update your video drivers. Go to the link below and update to the latest from Nvidia. Also, make sure that Windows update has been run recently.

Hopefully, someone will see something I do not as to what is making your client crash.

I'm going to uninstall AC and then reinstall it to C:games.. maybe it'll work better from a freshie. Are there any tricks to saving/copying certain files so I don't need to remap my key bindings or spelltabs?
