Ac is the best game for mmorpg players with real experience and looking for deep system and profound game mechanics and content...
They can t do it F2P, that s a fact, This game is way too much rich and developed to make some limitation and adopt a F2P model.
However I m pretty sure many people will come back to the game or just try it if it goes F2P, Even if it goes half price like 5 dols a month...
With the money they make from the 2 other franchises, Turbine should really make an economic gesture to the ac players and reduce monthly fee of the game.
The joke here is I can t resub cause of Credit card problem and i will have to get a pre-paid card just for Ac... But when I see a 100+ dollards subscription for a year of game, I think it s totally worth it and in the other hand I think I pay way too much for a dated but ultragood game.
I don t think their price is fair anymore... They have to reduce it for respect for the active player and in the hope to make people come back / sign up.

Agree with the above poster about pricing. Before LOTRO went F2P, you could regularly get deals to play for $9.95/month. Paying more for AC just doesn't make sense.

AC is $9.95/mo if you pay for a year in advance. Not that great a price, but still a good value.
I had the same credit card problem with one of my accounts SnoWStyleee - you just need to call billing support and they will fix it.

Lots of players try to come back, and some new but all the problems run them off. big hassle

How about just make it free period. -shrug-
Put up some ads to your other games on the launcher and the website. Keep the game as it is and give it away.
