what the hell is the point of this, Turbine could give a crap about ign/vn

I really don't see how they're just following player feedback when they censor/delete posts on there board when something negative is said, I'm betting this so called feedback is from the exit poll and people that quit...

I understand some like ideas and concepts from one proposal to the next but not the entire proposed update.

I also understand most likely the end result will in fact not be any of these one options specifically. But a combination of the proposed update concepts. It is a creative process that turbine has granted to share with us and let us the players contribute. It is still in design and the update evolves each day.

Furthermore I understand that this poll will in no way effect what Turbine includes in the patch content for February.

BUT a lot of people on AC forums, Vn forums and ingame are saying they like "this proposal" over "this proposal". I just wanted to see which of the following options proposed to date was in highest preference that is all. This poll does exactly that - nothing more nothing less.

one thing I hate about the changes is I feel they are not needed but even that isnt truly being discussed. It sort of not an option its either this or that what do you want ? I dont want either not an option. It is though because Im not going to pay for that and it breaks my heart because how much time and effort basically my life went into the game and then forced 11 years to quit because of some balance issue 12 years after the game went retail. They cant make a small change either it has to be some major revamp of the entire skill system. F that.

Funny thing is we are asked for our opinions. But in the end turbine will do something that will surly cut our little population by half yet again. Soon there will only be 3 of us to divide:(

I would like option 1 if I were still playing this game. They should make it F2P and there more than likely would be a growth in the community. I don't see why they are still charging for AC when D&D and LOTRO is F2P.

AC is their cash cow

And I think option 1 is the best long term choice for the game. No one gets specifically nerfed, everyone gets a boost, and the possibilities with loot, quests, and game mechanics are vastly increased.

I already voted by unsubscribing. Big eff you to the devs. They can DIAF.

You have to ask why the hell they are changing a 12 year old game?

I was seriously contemplating returning to AC. This just nails the coffin shut for good. The imbalance issues weren't the game breaker they make them out to be. Everyone at the creation of their character had the options to choose what he or she wanted. I picked mage then made him sword. But I also had other slots to build characters on. I created quite a few different characters over the years. I just don't get why everything needs to be balanced, you had the choice of what to make. And how to make the toon.

They even implemented ways of rebuilding our characters when people griped about the imbalance! But I guess the whiners finally won. Everyone is equal there are no winners or losers now. People are all special and deserve to all be right and happy all the time. There can't be more then one flavor of ice cream. It all needs to be vanilla so no one feels cheated they took butter scotch ripple instead.

This change people say is a necessary way to keep the game evolving and changing....maybe its the evolving and changing that's making people leave the game? I don't agree for change for the sake of change. if it's not broken, why is there a need to change it? And I know everyone's definition of broken is different. I get it. But making this game into every other game out there is not why people play AC.

I just cannot believe the sheep finally ran the herder over and now makes wool out of his hair. Heaven forbid someone feels trodden upon and cheated cause that would be catastrophic. The world is a place of equals and Utopian in all things. That's why we all live in communes and ride trains to and from work, pulled by unicorns and centaurs.

Peace.

This change doesn't even come close to making AC like every other MMO. In fact, just about everyone can play the way they always did, use the weapon types they want, and be different from other people.

There is no point in drastic imbalance in a fictional world that people play to have fun and escape the real world.
