I'm estimating 4-6 weeks before I have a draft for release. It's not visible in those images, but the map is currently rather buggy. For example, the roads were paved with snow, rather than cobblestone, and the coastal areas are a mishmash of... a lot of materials. There's several hours of color map tweaking remaining. Beyond the draft release, there's further work to do: The colormap is only populating the uppermost visible layer for most regions. For example, Aerlinthe's obsidian areas in those images are in fact mostly exposed smooth stone in the game. Presently, I think the only option to remedy such will be to go through in creative mode and manually replace the inappropriate blocks.
Listos:
Draft should be ready in 4-6 weeks
Final: Unknown; it'll be quite a while.
I should also perhaps mention that I rebuilt Dryreach many months ago, and have most types of Aluvian buildings saved as MCEdit objects. The scale will be a bit off, though, between the map (1:10 scale vs AC) and the buildings (1.5:1 scale vs AC). The buildings are scaled that way so that they retain a similarity of appearance, within the constraints of vanilla Minecraft's cubic meter building blocks.
