Company representing another company perhaps... That's not my gig. It's far from irrelevant in a direct customer relations interactions, because while I do advocate STRONGLY for a customer, my goodwill dries up quickly when faced with a whiny argumentative prick. If you think your attitude in a conversation with a CSR has no bearing on its outcome, you are wrong. There's plenty that I can opt to not bring up that you as the customer have no idea were even options.
Oh and here's a protip, saying to a CSR that you are going to be a prick on the call and its not directed at them is NOT gonna help your calls outcome... Being polite sure will though!

i'm the polite guy....i get the run around...because i'm slow to anger
i have friends who are dicks to csr's and they get results...
you might be the exception...who knows....my experience tells a different story

Nope. The other CSRs around me are all the same when it comes to this. The old axiom holds true, you will always get more flies with honey than vinegar.
