if you know a friend that skis, let him teach you a little....basic stops, turning on beginginer slopes. then take lessons, that wait your not wasting money on the most basic lesson group. if your friend can get you to parrel sking o the step before parreel sking you can spend your money on advance lessons.

I remember when I was younger and skiing (about 15 years ago) barely anyone wore helmets. But I recently went skiing and boarding and noticed that about half are wearing helmets. It's a good idea to wear one. I don't wear one. Completely up to you. Just dont go fast or run into any trees or poles. And make that pie!

I have a ton of friends who ski, I'm just going to pester one of them and buy them a lift ticket and a 6 pack to help me out
