Keurig Owners of ACF: You Lied To Me! Larger Cup Size is Clearly Diluted!

Wife wanted one for Christmas. I got one inspite of my dislike of the increased cost of making simple coffee.
Small Cup - Nice strength and taste for medium/mild roasts
Large Cup - Clearly watered down taste for medium/mild roasts
You can even see the colour of the water coming out of the Keurig go from dark brown, to near clear as it "brews".
I've actually been using this to my advantage though... Timothy's Extra bold midnight blend was on sale for <30cents a cup so I bought 2 cases. Tastes almost like charcoal on the small cup size. Tastes fairly good on large cup size.
That being said. I enjoy the Keurig overall.
Does anyone have a cheap place to get the K-Cups? I like the variety packs for sampling and guests.

Those are a colossal amount of waste for a single cup of coffee.
That said, there are places you can get the empty cups, and grind your own beans.

Mine has a cup that I fill with coffee I ground myself. Its the most cost effective way if your just a coffee drinker. I only buy the specialty cups like chai latte and green tea.
*edit* the cup you fill yourself is reusable. I have 2 of them that I alternate.

I love Keurig  We have them at work. I normally don't even like coffee at all but I can drink this stuff like water

I use the medium and then the small setting, it fills my thermos perfect and the coffee comes out nice.
