this and the crazy baylor win is just 2 reasons why there needs to be a play-off system.
while LSU and the Tide have awesome defenses they wouldnt be able to shutdown a team with a high powered offense when it starts clicking.
like they say in the nfl "any given Sunday"

Uh...that's exactly what awesome defenses do. They shut down high powered offenses. Have you just started watching football recently?
