I was wondering that at first too. Jumping on someone for not already knowing everything about computers. He knows how to reformat, that's better than a majority of users. Then I remembered, this is ACF.

I did all the obvious crap first multiple times before I reformatted. That was a last ditch, hail-mary, hoping and praying something would be fixed.
I guess I had to much faith in Bio-ware to see that they could make a mistake on a epic scale, but I forget they are merely underlings in the EA empire.

I don't even know what to say. Every mmo ever made has had issues with various patches affecting x% of the subscribers. Chill out, go look at the forums and wait on the fix which I guarantee will be coming.

Please be advised that the servers will be unavailable later tonight or tomorrow morning for a new patch. This deployment will fix a few high priority issues in the game.
Before the patch is put in place, there will be in-game and launcher notifications that the servers will be going down, so please keep an eye out for these.
We will be sure to update this thread as more detailed information becomes available.
emergency server downtime I guess the uproar is big enough and they took notice when the subs started dropping.
but watch they will improve the emote system and add more sparkles to space combat.

There was an exploit with the /getdown emote causing bosses to stop attacking until someone pulled agro, meaning solo, you could kill ANY MOB of ANY DIFFICULTY without getting hit. Clearly they shouldn't fix that.

they have said this have fixed this issue multiple times since monday, yesterday there was 2 patches.
3 days and they still havent addressed the issue yet and tonight emergency downtime, sorry I have lost faith in these clowns.
they even disabled the search and post history feature on the forums because they say its to improve performance
now the real reason, board admins are making posts and threads go poof.
