Also multiplayer sucks, nobody will play you and if you join a game online it is usually a complete disaster.

It's only real issue at this point is that the AI isn't very good at war.
yeah I didnt care for the combat ai and if you increase the difficulty all that does is allows the cpu nations to build their units faster and they become more aggressive.
they dont become any more crafty in their tactics just build more and faster.
I want to see attacks with multiple "army cores" invading taking advantage of the terrain, also it seems like they avoid naval combat unless you play a island map and it forces the ai to use a navy.
I dont know how many times a enemy decides to park a archer or cannon unit in open plains right next to a hill or mtn(negating any terrain bonuses)instead of on top it, or occupy forts after they capture them.

Some good changes. Some bad changes.
If you really just want to play a Civ game, just play Civ IV some more. If you follow the franchise and want to try their new one, then get V. It's cheap.

I love that the AI cannot stack 1000 level 1 warriors together and take out my city defended by tanks, helios and mobile infantry anymore. That was a nice change...

Civ sucks, the only good Civ game is Civ2. It was cerebral and slow-paced and soothing.
