I never used a companion when I played Skyrim. I always just solo'd everything because all companions ever did was run in front of me and either get beheaded, take an arrow, or get backstabbed. All by me.

I double-teamed Krosis and a dragon and lost Janessa which made me incredibly sad. Loaded the prior save and lost her again. :[
