If you aren't ugly and don't have particularly high standards, one night stands are actually rather easy to have if you're ready to initiate. Chance are there are multiple people in your life right now that you could have a one night stand with if you tried.

First realize one night stands aren't crushes you stick to. If you have feelings for the person and want even a fling with them, pick someone else.

With that said, you flirt and pick up like usual, but upfront about just wanting some pointless sex. That's kind of important, since not everyone wants the hassle of a relationship, but a lot of people want to screw (even ones already in a relationship). If you get a no, you move on. This is where most stop because they want a date or relationship instead of an easy screw.

Other than that, don't rule out people you just met if you like their body and way about them. There are points in everyone's lives where they just want to hit the bed with someone, so you just have to make yourself available to that.
