From a mathematical standpoint, if he's at all attractive and has any social skills, it can't be all that difficult.
Let's say he started at age 17...that's ten years, he'd have had to average 30 women a year, maybe 2-3 each month. It's a lot, but not really all that hard -- I used to know girls in high school who had a different boyfriend every week, and this isn't particularly different. He probably travels a lot and/or lives in a big city so he doesn't keep meeting the same women over and over.
