In honor of Jezza, I ate Pho for the first time today.

I am not really happy with the experience. Mint-chicken noodle soup tasted just about how I thought it would taste. All the added garden leftovers they brought out on a side plate didn't help a lot. Spouts, endive(??), jalapenos, cilantro, and other stuff.
Also, why serve half a head of lettuce with my four egg rolls ordered as an appetizer? Am I supposed to wrap the lettuce around the egg role before eating/dipping it? Do I use it to wipe my chin? Very messy and confusing. So much assembly required for the whole meal.

besides pho is meant to be drowned with sriracha and sweet sauce.

I hear now that I could have asked for it mint-free. That chicken meat was so bland, it was like it had been boiled in plain water, twice. If that soup had no mint in it, there would have been no taste at all.
