Yes its a small, crappy project. But it kept me busy for a couple of hours and i think it's kinda cute. And now i have another egg cozy which is always good

see, this is my fear with crocheting, besides the left handed thing getting in the way.... I don't want to make any kind of "cozy" ever.
Not that there is anything wrong with what you made, its learning, I realize that. You have to start somewhere. I just have this unnatural personal hate of cozies.

You can get instructions to crochet left-handed. And as for the cozy thing, just dont make 'em. I wanted a small, easy project to get me started on working in the round (next task will be hats, working up to my poncho which will have to be worked in the round, and i want plenty of experience before i tackle that one!!), so this seemed ideal. Of course, now i need the practice, so my family members will start getting random gifts of egg cozies

if you are needing practice and something to do, check w/ your local hospital.
i read somewhere that neo natal and other places there ned items for keep ppl warm. heads and feet like.

I'm missing something, why do you need to keep an egg warm? If you cook it why not eat it, if you don't want to eat it right away, why not wait to cook it?
