According to 2010 US Census California's population was 40.1% Non-Hispanic White, 6.2% Black or African American, 13.0% Asian, 1.0% American Indian, 0.4% Pacific Islander and 4.9% from two or more races. 37.6% of the total population are Hispanics or Latinos of any race.

Change the unauthorized to illegal and add in the amount that it costs the state of California, also add in the amount of $ sent to their country of origin, then see if it is a net gain or loss.

Nope. While some illegals stay near the border most get far away from it. The Latinos in San Diego are much different than what most of the country are used to. They can actually speak English very well and fit right in with the American culture. When you look at illegals, realize their children and grandchildren will be much more like this.o way I would send them to Mexico. They are truly not Mexican.

We in CA have plenty of issues, when it comes to illegal aliens.
There's a state rep who wants to push through legislation that would not impound the cars of illegal unlicensed drivers, if they are stopped and ticketed. (The Los Angeles Sherrif and Mayor are trying to do the same thing.)
They're trying to ram through the California DREAM act, which would give tuition assistance for college, to illegals.
There are still other groups that are pushing for licenses for illegals.
I have no problem with anyone, of any race, religion, creed or national origin - coming to the United States legally, in search of making a better life for themselves, in fact I encourage legal immigration. But when people come illegally, and want a handout, and government officials seek to give it to them, I have a problem.
