Manning wouldnt go to Seattle, too small a market. If he gets dealt or cut he'll go to a huge market.

Was Indy really that big a market before he got there?

Nope, but he is almost done now, if he goes anywhere it will be to maximize money and that means a big market.

Cutt, if you look hard at the Seahawks you will see that with a very good QB they are legitimate SB contenders.

i dont think it was, but Peyton is a class act unlike his brother and father so he stuck with who chose him.

honestly i cant picture him in any other uniform.
where he lands though, they BEST have a stone wall offensive line!

They don't think he will be healed by then and able to play again? Jeeze. He rocks their team for years, gets hurt one year, and he's sent to the glue factory like a lame horse.
No wonder people don't want to be franchise players anymore.

They are getting Andrew Luck. And as of right now it looks like it's the same as getting another Peyton Manning rookie.

I'd like to think he'd fit in with the Vikings. He could start and coach up Ponder for the future.

But...I cringe at what would have to be given up to get him. I still remember the Herschel Walker trade and how it, for all intents and purposes, won 3 Super Bowls for the Cowboys.

I'd love that, but knowing how that goes it would probably mean Manning would be plagued by injury and it would be like getting a banged up Favre again. Are you thinking they'd give up AP? That could be risky, who knows how he will play after his knee surgery.

ETA: I think MN is still dying for a winning team though. They had a taste 2 years ago. The new stadium will get approved shortly and they will want to fill the trophy case.
