Exactly why I don't believe in *most* of them.

The SAME group of people who pulled off 9/11 sat in front of the world and fumbled around outdated photographs and vials of bull**** for Iraq? Those brilliant, flawless executors of demolitions in downtown New York City couldn't even make a halfway decent case for invading Iraq? Really?



We invaded Iraq with support from Democrats and Republicans, tons of money floated around, contractors got paid, Bush had 2 terms...

Must I go on?

Only if you're going to address the ramifications for Colin Powell, Donald Rumsfeld, control of the US House and Senate, Tony Blair, the office of the Vice President, and the office of the Secretary of State.


Just because we went in anyways doesn't mean that a sound case was ever made and the careers of people (and images of US political offices) involved weren't irreparably tarnished.

What ramifications? Powell and Rumsfeld weren't imprisoned. Nobody of note was. Bush served two full terms as did Cheney, and neither have shown regret for their actions. If there was a conspiracy, any other fallout wouldn't have been their concern anyways.

That doesn't sound like incompetence to me. Even Obama decided to look the other way the moment he was elected.
