Last one I read stated that you only needed 34k/family member to be in the top 1% globally... Tried to make it look like people who earned 34k were in the top 1%. It was really $136k/houshold, 68k/parent. They included children to make the wage look lower.
Now this links people into homes of the 1% in the US by marriage. There are so many teachers, their pay is more often less than the 68k/year needed for global 1% and no where near american 1%. But because there are so many teachers, they get lopped in when by chance one marries someone wealthier.
While I agree teachers are getting in through marriage, some teachers make good money, like tenured college professors at top schools.

The 1%er movement wasn't about household income, it was about job income.
The article is just hard facts, and likely no intention for bias. People live in households and thus statistics on households is interesting to readers.
What I don't understand is why they give an actual number in thousands for the household figure, but a % for job income. The % is a much more relevant figure.
What the display does not show at all, however, is the actual income breakdown between all the 1%ers. I.E. Yes there are more physicians/managers than CEOs in the top 1%, yet the CEOs could even trump the income of physicians/managers combined.

Exactly why I don't believe in *most* of them.
The SAME group of people who pulled off 9/11 sat in front of the world and fumbled around outdated photographs and vials of bull**** for Iraq? Those brilliant, flawless executors of demolitions in downtown New York City couldn't even make a halfway decent case for invading Iraq? Really?
