um, did you actually read the article, it states that there hasn't been a case of AIDS linked to porn since 2004, and they self police.

Did you? Ged Kenslea explicitly disagrees with you, the state law for this was already in place, and LOL at the fine parsing of the statement of the industry on "no directly-linked cases of AIDS."

My point with BT is that regulations have reasons, and in this case it was a pretty good one. He can't even jerk off over his constitution on this one, because it was a case of local enforcement of a state law. There was a compelling reason for the law to exist and a mandate on the local municipality to enforce it.

As long as he wears a condom...

No ... they don;t. Regulations are there either to immorally enforce behavior or illegally steal money ... that's it.

Oh look, even on the same day he's trolling Cutt with the definition of "theft" here he is getting it wrong.

And I refuse to believe you've taken a critical look at how current regulatory bodies in our government act and the interests they serve. Look at financial industry regulators for a great example of existing regulation. Look at SOPA for a great example of proposed regulation.

BT has a very valid argument, whether any of you like it or not. Debate it or go home crying. IMHO.
