I drove around all day today and yesterday with no problem. Up and down hills, even hit my emergency brake a few times to slide around.
I have a 2 wheel drive manual 98 honda civic with old tires.
I still don't get how people have so many problems.

did you get 8 inches of new snow overnight?
my car would have been fine without the sock thingies on most of the roads, but getting out of my neighborhood and getting into my mom's driveway would have been impossible without them.
