you can get them from 2 different makers but they have to be the same model and same ram amount....overclock doesn't matter

so

a pny gtx560 with 1gb ram would SLI with a MSI gtx560 with 1 GB ram

a MSI gtx560 with 1 GB ram would not SLI with a MSI gtx560 with 2GB ram

a gtx560 would not SLI with any gtx560TI

a gtx560TI will NOT SLI with a gtx560TI 448 core

I had sli once and I'll never do it again. Most of the games I wanted to play did not work with sli and I spent most of my time with one turned off.

What about Crossfire?

Haven't had any problems there except for Blacks Ops, except that game wasn't ported over well.

unless you are doing an SLI or Crossfire of the best card out there, the cost of buying two cards easily is defeated by buying one card for the price you'd pay for two that's FAR better.

as in, if you buy two $250 cards, you might as well spend $500 on one card that will out perform the crossfire/SLI configuration due to the percentage of loss you get on the second card.

If you think my opinion is idiotic, re-read yours.
Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.
The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.
