"I find myself sleeping a lot more than I used to. I also feel like my entire life has been a waste and there's no point to anything. Except Oxycodone. I love me some Oxy. That would perk me right up."

Maybe you should have went and seen a shrink first.
When the VA put me on mindfck drugs, I had to see a couple different shrinks/therapists first.

I was basically hoping for a referral to a shrink (my insurance requires referrals for everything). He wouldn't even give me that.

I'm still baffled at him calling you a drug-seeker. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I didn't realize kids were using anti-depressants to get high.

Yep, that one slipped by me, but I am a bastion of mental health so I am unfamiliar with such things.

most anti-depressants prescribed are ssri's snri's,etc..........
at least you have to usually get prescribed those first and if they dont work then they prescribe the "narcotic" drugs. they dont go around willy-nilly prescribing out valium, lithium, and other mind altering drugs as a first treatment.

LOL, you cant get high on lithium, and it isnt a narcotic. If you want to vomit, shake and feel like someone turned your brain down to like 3 then you might go drug-seeking for lithium

i would never lump in valium with lithium. valium is crazy addictive, i've seen some pretty messed up people hooked on them.
