What are they even trying to do with Kemba Walker? Is he playing like a combo guard role right now for them? Is the plan to make him a full time PG or keep him as a scoring guard? Cuz the dude is tiny and he cannot guard SGs in this league. He's a shoot first guard which also means he won't be a very good PG, and D.J. is still on the roster so its kinda a log jam there. He's having a terrible rookie season any way so I don't even know what the point is.
I think it probably will be another Iverson type, but we'll see, Ty Lawson does okay and I think he's even shorter.

As already said, no he won't. He is a horrible owner and I don't know why he hasn't quit yet.

No way you can put Kemba Walker in the same class as Iverson.

But Ty Lawson is really good. So far, Kemba has not been good at all.
Ty Lawson came in as a rookie and put up elite-level efficiency numbers with a PER of 17 right away.
Kemba is playing more minutes than Ty did and putting up abysmal efficiency numbers, shooting 36% from the field.

True, but Denver also has people that can score.....
Could be worse though, could be the Knicks

Kemba looks like another JJ Barea to me. Just another tiny, quick, hustle guy to spark the team off the bench. I don't see Ty Lawson or Allen Iverson when I look at his game. I see JJ Barea.
Which also means this is another bust of a pick for MJ

Oh I never said it would be successful version of Iverson, just that it's a small starting point guard with a score first mentality.

A thread about the NBA that got 18 serious replies, well done. I never thought it could happen here.
