He was unable to do anything with the Washington Wizards both on and off the court. Just because he was the greatest player of all time doesn't neccesarily mean he will be able to get teams to win from off the court. Did he make a huge mistake buying the Bobcats? Right now they are dead last in the NBA with a 3 and 16 record. I know he gets a pass for at least this season since I guess this is really his first full season as majority owner. I am going to say no, he will not turn them into a winning franchise based on his experience with the Wizards and the dismal performance of the Bobcats so far.

IMO, and not just because i'm a bulls fan

He should have stayed in Chicago. Doing anything really. The fans here would love him if he mopped up the floor in between plays.

Bulls have the Bobcats 2012 pick (protected) so I hope MJ stays there until we can get a lottery pick. After that, he needs to fire himself and come back to the city everyone knows he belongs in: CHICAGO. Not lame-ass Charlotte.

Michael Jordan mentoring Derrick Rose = it's over for the league

I don't think he will ever be back in Chicago for basektball. He's all in as team owner, it's a dream come true even if it is in Charlotte. I think their draft picks last year shows a lot. You can't build a team around Biyimbo or Walker, and they are making nutty deals with trades.

The Bobcats have a bunch of players I've never even heard of. Kemba Walker seems way too small to play in the NBA. D.J. Augistin is not as good as he was hyped up to be.

They traded Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace last year, two very good players, and received....something back except I don't know what. That's never a good sign.

I don't think Boris Diaw and Bismack Biyombo will take this team to the promised land.

He's a terrible owner/manager and that has always been the case. His draft picks (Kwame Brown) have mostly been terrible, he trades players away for nothing (as mentioned earlier).

At least Kemba Walker looks like he might be decent, but this team is going to be bad for a long time, just like Washington.

As already said, no he won't. He is a horrible owner and I don't know why he hasn't quit yet.

How can he quit already? He just bought the team in the middle of last season. He's going to have to give it at least 5 years right?

What are they even trying to do with Kemba Walker? Is he playing like a combo guard role right now for them? Is the plan to make him a full time PG or keep him as a scoring guard? Cuz the dude is tiny and he cannot guard SGs in this league. He's a shoot first guard which also means he won't be a very good PG, and D.J. is still on the roster so its kinda a log jam there. He's having a terrible rookie season any way so I don't even know what the point is.
