I don't see why we should give old people anything. 99 years old? That's pretty effing lucky. I am awesome and I am probably going to die at 40. When I see people that old I get jealous. But if you can't appreciate the fact that most people get set in their ways by 20 so people at 99 probably wont budge or change, you are probably an idiot. Then again, criticism can be a way we grow. I don't see why we should take away the possibility for personal growth after a certain age.

My grandma accidentally called a brazil nut an "n-word toe," and then got super embarassed because that was normal to her generation, but she has had enough experience with the newer generations that she realizes it is really inappropriate. I am GLAD she was really old and still able to care what other people think/feel enough to get embarrassed. I hope I am like that. Enough of my friends say "gay" to mean "lame" that it is pretty natural for me to let it slip. I hope when my grandkids call me out on it I'm all "Bah, you stupid kids don't understand, it's gay and I don't mind saying it!"

my grandma called them N-word Toes too, she wasn't sure what a brazil nut was when they started calling them that. She had a good laugh about it once she figured it out. they used to also use it in place of Tiger in "eeny meeny miney moe" too.

The only people who will suffer over this is the sister in law and the kid. More than likely granny has already forgotten the whole thing.

Is the kid a fatty? Perhaps the parents should take a hint.

Oh and this:

Hell yeah granny forgot 10 minutes later. Sister in law is probably still stewing over it.

You did not address the important question, is the kid a fatty? The answer makes the difference.

If you think my opinion is idiotic, re-read yours.
Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.
The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.

Oh I thought I addressed it in the OP, but I guess it was veiled. Yes, a budding little chubster, just like her mother.

Ah, k, then sadly sister in law was out of line and hyper sensitive. Way to ruin an elderly woman's bday and make it all about her. Apparently grandma was right.

Either way, yeah, stupid family drama is stupid.
