At 7 years old, it's worth building a new one.
Mine is coming up on 5 years. It was a top of the line machine when I got it, so it's not too bad off, but I have a feeling that I'll be building a new one soon. I'll retire this one to the living room as a PC media center for my TV.
I'm not really in a position to start blowing money right now, though.

Its not the power supply, or the RAM. Tried a lot of different things and its down to either a CPU or motherboard I think. Either way, its a 7 year old PC, I'm not going to spend any real coin on it. Will just use my laptop for the time being.
