Maybe if I traded a lot but as a long term stock option? No way
Though if I traded stocks pretty regularly and played the market for sure. Facebook has quite a few more years ahead of it until it, thankfully, falls off the face of the earth

Users that whine, users that complain, and users that WILL leave as soon as the next big thing comes along. They're fickle. Just look at Myspace. These social networking sites exist as flashes in the pan and when you have 850,000,000 million users, how much more can you possibly grow? I think the result will be them doing things that are more invasive, more calculated, more upsetting to users when they find out, and inspire a competitor to get rolling that much quicker.
I'm not touching their stock.

At IPO? Nothing. IPOs rarely make money for anyone but the owner and those buying in before sales go public.
When it starts to crash a few weeks or months out and people start panicking, I might pick some up...

I'm betting that for 99% of your average Joe Schmoe investors, this would be the ONLY way they would get a piece of the action. Seems with IPOs this big it isn't like your average buyer can just go on Sharetrade, E-trade, whatever-trade and buy shares. Mostly high end investors will get the option to buy in, we won't.

I have not ever bought anything from there or paid a dime for anything from/on Facebook. I've never played Mafia Wars, Farmville, Cityville, or any other game. Where, or how, is Facebook getting any revenue from me?
