heck, their team didn't even win, it's that another team lost

Most people act as though they were the cause of the team winning and they should share in the accolades. "Congratulations for your team winning" is a joke when you aren't actually on the team!

but it's your team you win and lose with over the years
you become attached to your teams.. so when your team wins, you feel like you are winning right there with them

My rooting for the Giants was instrumental to their winning. I even joined them with champagne spraying after the game, and called the local news to give an interview.
