i think its better to avoid sexual tension/distractions. its not a matter of if some women are fit for it but the psychological and emotional distractions. not to mention how would affect spouses and girlfriends/boyfriends left behind knowing their sig other is out there in those tense emotional situations with people of the opposite sex. people form stronger bonds faster in situations like combat and while with the same sex that means you end up making close friends but with the opposite sex it means sex invariably comes up. then of course theres the high possibility of rape if anyone is captured.
so while i'm sure some women could pass the physical requirements those are really just a small part of the reason its not a great idea.
