I dun got promoted this morning
|
Was almost maxed out on points to get Sergeant but I'm not eligible until next month....but I did get promoted to Corporal and was asked to submit a resume & bio to apply for a job with a special unit in Texas for when I get back from deployment. Crossing fingers so I can move to Austin.

i don't understand...are you in a branch of the military or a cop? half of what you said doesn't make sense in terms of the military so i have to assume cop

aside from the "points" issue that i'm having a hard time reconciling.....if you just got promoted to cpl how will you be eligible for sgt next month? i assumed all branches(like the marines) had a time in grade requirement before being eligible for promotion
