Most of the time if I want cake, I want a rich butter cake with chocolate frosting. Most chocolate cakes are super dry, bleh. However, I have the most amazing recipe for a from-scratch chocolate cake with the most beautiful billowy light chocolate frosting, and it just turns me into a limp puddle on the floor when I eat it. SO DELICIOUS
So now I need your recipe!
I've never cared for red velvet cake. Too much food coloring.

Red velvet with food coloring? the stuff i always get has cherries blended into it to give it the red color. and the only good cake is no bake cheese cake

This one is pretty common - TWO TABLESPOONS of red food coloring. A few other recipes I searched on 'only' had one tablespoon of red food coloring.
