Not, "How do you cook salmon," but "How do YOU cook salmon?"

Also, what kinds of marinades/sauces/spices do you use?

I know lots of people grill it but I'm mostly looking for oven recipes.

Thanks!

oven 350, or broiler on

brush lightly w/ olive oil, salt

cook

eat as is or squeeze of lime or lemon

no sauce as i prefer to have the taste of the salmon, not the taste of whatever sauce.

oh yeah, blackened is good also

with butter, strawberries and onions sliced up on top, wrapped in tin foil and baked or grilled.

it takes out the bad flavors and a lot of the saltiness.

Wrap it in some foil with a little olive oil, lemon and pepper, then bake in the oven.

There's no way I'm eating this raw. I like my capitalist trash!

How long do you cook it, foxy?

Jezza, that sounds so unique. Strawberries on salmon? Can't say I've heard of that before.

Hm.. wrapped in foil and then cooked in the oven? Is that so that it stays juicy? I think I want an edge of crispy to it.

Do any of you cook it in a pan first and then in the oven?

Edit: I didn't see sooz's response before I posted this but it looks like I responded to her. haha.

I don't care for dried out fish and I want it to cook evenly, which is why I use the foil. It also helps with the strawberries and onions doing their job. I learned this trick from a children's camp chef, she used the method because kids so often say they hate salmon. I also didn't care much for salmon before I tried it this way.

When I'm in the mood for salmon, i prefer it simple.

Salt
pepper
olive oil

In oven. 350 for about 20ish minutes?
