Austerity wont cure anything. Its a proven fact that budget cutting everything to the bone only leads to a self fullfilling prophecy of going into the s***er faster.

Austerity is stupid, the only people it helps are the bankers who were stupid enough to lend money to people who can't pay it back.
I hope the Greek people kill every politician who voted for such stupidity, and eat breakfast off their corpses chests.

Problem is they are broke because they spent themselves into a hole that they cannot climb out of. The US is going to have the same problem if they don't get spending under control soon.
