and yet thru the ever evolving ignorance of the repubs we need less environmental protection and less regulation on companies dumping this crap all over the place.

What does that have to do with driving whole farming communities out of business because of things like a tiny fish? Did it ever occur to you that perhaps we don't want dangerous chemicals in the environment either but there are over reactions?

republicans are usually ignorant about science. they say things like tiny fish, as if the size of the fish had anything to do with its importance in the ecosystem. rofl.

The problem with the EPA is that they don't seem to understand the larger scope of their jobs. Instead of making sure people don't put drums filled with chemical sludge into our waterways, they go around to small farms and tell them that their fence has to be torn down because the wildlife can't get to the pond.... BUT THE POND IS MAN MADE AND THE FENCE WAS THERE FIRST!

Yeah, the true crime is the same is it always is... politics and common sense do not overlap.

The EPA is putting the country out of business, for example it is almost impossible to build stuff now that cleans the environment, like geothermal power or a sewage treatment plant.

It was the set up that they get to keep part of the fines for their respective salaries that screws things up, now rather then find a solution they want to fine (make up) problems so they have job security.

Next up, road potholes being declared a wetland. It has gotten that ridiculous for example they call puddles on wet rocks, (fresh lava flow) as a wetland, I got into a big argument when I said you mean we rocks, they said same thing too bad, you owe us money.
